What is CBD isolate?
What is CBD isolate? Cannabidiol or CBD as it’s commonly known, is one of the 80+ chemical compounds found in the cannabis sativa plant. CBD is extracted and isolated from these other compounds. The end product is an odorless, tasteless powder that can simply be dropped under the tongue or added and mixed to oils, beverages, food, candy, lotions, rubs…the list goes on and on. There are no psychoactive effects and as of now, no adverse effects have been discovered. Research is ongoing and currently, CBD is used in one drug that has been approved by the FDA, Epidiolex, which is used for seizure treatment. CBD shows promise in reducing anxiety and relieving pain for it’s users. Using a CBD isolate product will not cause a failed drug test, which is a concern for many that are subject to random testing.
What is the Difference between Full Spectrum and Broad Spectrum Hemp Oil
The cannabis sativa plant has over 80 chemical compounds known as cannabinoids. Some commonly known cannabinoids are CBD, THC, CBG, and CBN. These cannabinoids interact with receptors in the human body’s endocannabinoid system. When these compounds are extracted from the plant they are FULL SPECTRUM meaning that they have had all the compounds including THC extracted. BROAD SPECTRUM, however, has had the THC removed but leaves the other cannabinoids.
